Our client, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), a registered society with its office at Core 4-B, 5th Floor, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003, is an apex national body representing the vehicle and vehicular engine manufacturers in India and organises Auto Expo - The Motor Show .

It has come to the notice of SIAM that some unscrupulous cheaters and fraudsters are impersonating SIAM and its members and are claiming to be distributing prizes under frivolous “Auto Expo Mega Award 2021” to cheat and deceive innocent people. The deceived ‘lucky winner’ is required to fill a form providing their personal details including bank details. The winner is required to pay them ‘all government taxes’ and a processing fees towards the redemption of the prize money.

BY THIS CAUTION NOTICE PUBLIC AT LARGE IS HEREBY CAUTIONED THAT SIAM HAS NOT INSTITUTED ANY SUCH AWARD AND HAS NOT ISSUED ANY ADVERTISEMENT CALLING FOR THE PRESENTATION OF AUTO EXPO MEGA AWARD 2021. SIAM IS NOT SOLICITING ANY PAYMENTS ON ANY COUNT WHATSOEVER.

SIAM is in no manner whatsoever associated with these fraudulent individuals/ entities.

Any person or entity acting on the said advertisement and dealing with these fraudulent individuals/ entities shall do so at own risk and cost, and SIAM, its management, governing board, employees and members will in no manner whatsoever be responsible.

Public is hereby requested to bring to the notice of SIAM instances of such illegal and unlawful activities and inducement so that necessary legal action can be taken.
